Essence soo glow! highlighter.

One day I was strolling through my local Kruidvat. And there they were: two new humongous displays: one essence the other catrice. I wasn't planning on buying any more make up, but I did not leave the shop empty handed. I got the new soo glow! cream to powder highlighter by essence in the shade 20 bright up your life.
I'm not particularly fond of the see through plastic packaging. It's nice to be able to see the colour of the product inside and it seems sturdy enough, but it doesn't look very chic. It's not bad, but not great either.
Ingredients are:
ETHYLHEXYL PALMITATE, ISOSTEARYL ISOSTEARATE, OZOKERITE, ALUMINUM STARCH OCTENYLSUCCINATE, MICA, ISOPROPYL PALMITATE, SYNTHETIC FLUORPHLOGOPITE, METHYL METHACRYLATE CROSSPOLYMER, LANOLIN, GLYCERYL CAPRYLATE, BHT, SILICA, TIN OXIDE, CI 75470 (CARMINE), CI 77491(IRON OXIDES), CI 77891 (TITANIUM DIOXIDE).
ALUMINUM STARCH OCTENYLSUCCINATE and BHT come with safety concerns in case of long term usage according to cosdna.com, but the rest of the ingredients look fine.
The packaging also says:
cream to powder highlighter with shimmering effects for a beautiful glowing complexion. easy to apply and blend it with fingers for a nice powdery finish on the cheekbones.
I would have used a capital at the start of each sentence, but let's ignore that and take a look at the important bit! The highlighter itself looks gorgeous: it's a shimmery pink cream!
It blends easily on the skin and leaves a cool toned sheen. It does indeed give a lovely glow to the cheekbones indeed, meaning that the highlighter does live up to its promises!

Overall this is a lovely product and it only costs €2.89!
Sincerely,
R.
