Easy Peasy Recipe: Courgette chips.

So I saw a recipe for courgette chips floating about somewhere on the internet. It involved herbs and parmesean. As I had a courgette that needed to be eaten in the fridge, I did an improvised variation.

You will need

Garlic powder
Black Pepper
Breadcrumbs
A courgette
Dried basil
Sea salt

How to make

Start by preheating the oven to 180°C. Wash the courgette, cut off the ends and then slice it in eight to twelve slices lengthwise. I accidentally sliced off a few small pieces, but no worries about that. Then mix two tablespoons of breadcrumbs with a bit of garlic powder, some salt and pepper and dried basil. Put the mix on a plate and dip the courgette in so it will stick. Lay the courgette on a baking tray and sprinkle anything that is left over from the breadcrumb mix across the baking tray as well. Bake this for fifteen minutes and then switch on the grill for another three minutes.

Transfer the sticks to a plate and sprinkle the crumbs that are left on the baking tray over top of those too.

The chips are juicy rather than crunchy but they taste great!

Bon-Apétit!
Sincerely,
R.
